SMBA's first track of 'Drifting' has a catchy change up at the climax and immerses you into a world derived from his twisted perspective on falling in love. Diving straight into the setting, you've plunged into a deep sea of black stagnant water, blindly searching the depths in hopes you'll find the one you "fell for". Swimming aimlessly venturing deeper and deeper into what seems like never-ending blackness until you tragically run out of breath only to be left "Drifting".
SMBA's Upcoming Album "Fatal Laws of Attraction" consists of 10 versatile songs that recount SMBA's testimony. Depicting a Tragic story expressing the struggle of an artist sacrificing deep rooted relationships that although seemed enticing, would certainly have been fatal to his full potential and career path as an artist ("i.e."- who he was born to be).
SMBA's first EP “Poetic Origins” starts with the track “Heroine” as in female hero. This powerful track was intended for his mother, who has battled with her addiction to heroin.
SMBA lost his father at 15 when he needed him the most. His mother fell back to addiction shortly after his father's death leaving SMBA and his siblings to avoid foster care. This is the final song on his EP and is dedicated to his father Michael James Strobridge.
Both SMBA and Caskey is from the same area of Florida lost their fathers at a young age. When SMBA was 15, and his father passed, Caskey took time out of his busy schedule under Cash Money records to talk with SMBA, a teenager in pain. They have now reconnected to make a unique vibe, providing both lyrical sustenances as well as originality.
